The Gronckle is a Common dragon of the Boulder Class.

The Gronckle inhibits a large rock platform habitat. Its specialty is collecting wood, although it seems to be able to collect fish as well.

Unique Gronckles encountered in the game include Meatlug.

Acquisition

The Gronckle can be purchased from the shop for 75 Runes.

A Gronckle Egg can be found when searching the following locations:
Bedrock Bluffs for 2m
Bashem for 30m
Badmist Mountain for 1h

If a Gronckle Egg is in an extra bag that the player chose not to purchase when searching with Toothless, the egg can be purchased for 40 Runes at this time only.

Dragon Design

The Egg is colored in brown mostly and it looks like a rock. You can see it in the picture at the bottom left hand corner of the Gronckle where the dragon resides.
