I thought the dragon pages could do with some more specific details, so I've put together a very rough draft on the blog post.
Please could you let me know if you're happy for this kind of thing to go on there? I don't want to start doing this if you have other plans in the works.
You have been updating so much that you have passed ALL of the admin's edits, You are very useful and the admins are grateful for your work on this wikia. I say one more time, Thank you and please continue to help us out.
I am considering having you as one of the admins of this site. Your work here is to be commended. If you are admin, this means the admin team would be compromised of- thecloudjumperdragon, ScauldyTheScauldron, Twentypence and StaticTheSkrill. Please reply for further info/ or if you would like the position.
I'll get the opinion of the others on this, I think if we were to go with this style then we would need to customise the info and colours at least.
I'm going to do a mockup page that we can play with then rollback the deadly Nader for the time being.
Sorry, but I tried this new design. And I can tell that its harder to put in stuff.
I found myself scrolling up and down many times just to find the correct places for the separate stats(fish/h, wood/h, gathering time, release values and more). And with that wasting a lot more time and effort than before.
Before everything was in ONE line and easy to compare and see to not make any mistake. Not to mention fans that visit the pages want to compare starts of different dragons. This new template makes it harder to do that.
Also when I click the EDIT button and then click on the template I have to wait at least 3,4 mins every time for it to load so I can actually start edit or put in info.
This thing is just not working for me. I lose interest in wasting my time with this new template.
I mean just look at the members here that add in stuff every day.
They say its nice and Ok, BUT all of them work on the dragon pages that don't have this weird template.
I only liked the navigation buttons in it. But the chart itself for me is a pain to deal with. I prefer the old way at least of that part.
Hi! These class symbols are already transparent. The symbol itself is also transparent so it will appear as a lighter colour on whatever colour you put it on. They are fairly hard to see, so.... Just check out the 'New pictures on this wiki' page, you'll see them there! :)
The Wood Stack and Fish Basin are a little confusing. I have been following these pages since Level 12 and find that the Capacity section is correct, but the Vikings needed to upgrade to the next level is one level ahead of itself. I personally am on Level 14 and upgrading each to level 15 for a capacity of 7,000,000 Fish and Wood for 2,600,000 each and 1d14h to upgrade. Any suggestions on how to improve these pages? If you could look into this and repair them it would be much appreciated.
Yes, I had a bit of trouble with those at first and I'm not sure either approach instantly makes sense.
We've put the information on the level where it's relevant (we thought that at level 14 you need to know what the requirements are before you can upgrade to 15, once you are at level 15 all you actually care about is your current capacity and the next upgrade) and the same approach is seen with the dragon pages.
If you can come up with an idea to make it clearer please put up a blog post with an example so we can take a look.
